Survival Of the Hippest
June 14th, 2008
I can never really say that I know fashion, nor that I am fashionable. I don’t even come across as being trendy. Honestly, I don’t give a rat’s ass about it. But one thing I do know is looking and being totally cool, whatever the hell I’m wearing.
Most of the time it’s really all about attitude. Hey, I show up on the first day of the week with Long Sleeves and Sandals. It’s a mix-up of the corporate look versus the surfer dude. Specially now that I have a Dell Laptop (*wink :p), I kinda blur the yuppie look. For meetings, I just put on a classy black cardigan. Then when I out for lunch, I just roll my sleeves. See, my look fits my style. Not unlike some douchebags with blazers and ties. Totally douchie and gay both at the same time.
The rest of the week I try to mellow down on my office wear. Punk shirts and skinny jeans will do, together with my trusty Chuck’s and Vans sneakers. After all, our office doesn’t really require corporate dressing. Only when the C-level bosses visits is the time we all dress up looking pompous and highly-respectable.
Ok. Did I say I give a rat’s ass about fashion? I take it back now. Brand Neusense is an online retail store that sells great apparel that brings out the urban in every one. I plan to get some of their stuff especially these great hoodies. Again it’s about attitude. But if ever you require a bit of fashion sense, visit Brand Neusense. Like what the guys over there says, it’s survival of the hippest.
