Dave Matthews Band “You & Me” 2010 Grammy Performance

Performing You and Me from their latest album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, DMB got help from an awesome crew of singers, percussionists, horn players and a string section to back Boyd Tinsley’s violin. AWESOME.
I was expecting to hear Why I Am, but they did crank ‘You and Me’ huge for the Grammys. The extra layer of symphony made it grandiose. And Dave doing his ‘dance’ made it the signature DMB jam. Something the band has been doing for almost 20 years, and something sadly not too many people know. Anyway, to us loyal fans it was an epic performance and that’s all that really matters. We have always heard and loved their great music, Grammy or no Grammy.

also, Tim Reynolds should never be play again beside the new Sax guy, who’s probably 15′8 ft. http://bit.ly/cd8b8T #dmb

That song was the absolute highlight of the night for me. Loved Dave’s little dance; it reminded me of an Elaine Benis special. Even more thrilling was seeing the entire ensemble having a blast up there.
it’s was massive jam up there on the Grammy stage. DMB is the greatest.
