SUN BROADBAND WIRELESS: Ain’t No Sunshine In This SHIT

No this is not the lifeline of a flu patient who took a pill of Advil for medication but accidentally washed it downed with a gallon of Hydrogenperoxide. Actually, the graph indicates how fast my wireless connection is exactly as I am typing these words. As good as dead right? Well my friends, death is a wireless broadband and I am currently connected to it. I will not drop any names in this blog though to avoid negative online reputation which will eventually…

SUN WIRELESS BROADBAND SUCKS LOOSE BALLS ON SUNDAY BINGO AT THE ELDERLY HOME
! I mean come on man, the connection is so slow that if it were a track race against Dial Up connection, Dial Up would’ve circled the track twice and carry Sun Broadband on its back all the way to the finish line. I think growing a gray is common every time I wait for an online video to buffer. Now my patience is wearing thin so please allow me to rephrase and reiterate that first line. SUN SUCKS LOOSE, SKIN-FLAPPING, SHINY GRAY-HAIRED BALLS WITH CANCEROUS TUMOR ON SUNDAY BINGO AT THE ELDERLY HOME.

Incidentally, some subscribers report that their connection is all good. To some maybe a bit of latency here and there. So maybe I’m just exaggerating. Maybe it’s just an issue of location. Actually my connection works consistently well in the office. Between 455 to 950 Kbps. Sometimes it even bursts to a torrent demon of 1Mbps. “Oh there you go” you say. But as I sit here in my bed 5 levels up of a condominium building at the heart of a major city where I can simply look out the window and view the huge-ass Sun Broadband billboards it just makes sense to me that I can safe-fucking-ly assume that I should get faster service up here where signals are supposed to work better! Ok I’m not too sure about the signal part on the higher thing, but you get my point. Internet here is so slow!

So Sun Wireless Broadband or Sun Broadband Wireless who gives a shit. Another unhappy customer right here. Well well well. I’ve been hearing lots of good things about Globe Tatoo. Well, not really. But Tatoo sounds wayyyy cooler the Sun so you’re days are numbered. I need my video streams and album downloads so if this sucky service persist, prepare to experience a permanent solar eclipse. Your subscribers will no longer need your light. And yadah yadah yadah im being corny now so ok just please be faster huh?

PS.

YOU SUCK LOOSE, SKIN-FLAPPING, SHINY GRAY-HAIRED BALLS WITH CANCEROUS TUMOR

I have been a subscriber of SBW for more than 10 months now. I had an acceptable speed connection with SBW during the first 6 months but experience slow connections during the last 4 months. I have been complaining about having slow connections at my area during peak hours. I have been trying to follow up with SBW customer service for the past 4 months now due to the slow connections. They agree that there is a problem with my area but they will never refund my payment since the reason that I have slow connections is due to congestion of users and not due to the system. This is because, if you would look at some of the literatures of SBW, there are small imprints that say that SBW could slow down during peak hours. For this reason, they are free from complaints and suit from DTI.

My subscription with SBW is not locked in for 2 years. I am decided to terminate my subscription from SBW even if I will waste my investment on their modem and router but you have to apply in their main office for termination which will really be a hassle. You can only also refund the 1000 pesos deposit after 6 months from service termination.

They said that SBW is continually improving their service in my area but doesn’t know when. So I asked if I could just hold my subscription with SBW while their connection is slow and would just re-subscribe when they already improved the system. They said that it could be possible but you have to pay 500 pesos for the reconnection fee.

Given the situation, I asked if I would just not pay the following months until my service is terminated. They said that after 2 months of non-payment, the SBW subscription would be disconnected but I would continually be charged every month even if the subscription is not being used until I pay and could receive a demand letter from their lawyers.

I asked where I could complain in writing and who to write to but they would never give a supervisor name. They just told me to email my complaint directed to a “To whom it may concern” to suncellular@digitel.com.ph

    THIS IS A SUPER WARNING!

Think very well before subscribing to SBW.

TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO SBW AND IS NOT SATISFIED AND DOESNT HAVE THE TIME YET TO GO THROUGH THE HASSLES OF TERMINATING FROM THEIR SERVICE OR TO THOSE WHO HAVE A LOCK IN PERIOD OF 2 YEARS …

DONT PAY FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS JUST BEFORE DISCONNECTION!!!

LET THEM FEEL THAT THEY HAVE TO IMPROVE THEIR SYSTEM.

HOPEFULLY I WILL HAVE TIME TO REALLY GO TO THEIR MAIN OFFICE TO TERMINATE MY SUBSCRIPTION. HOPEFULLY I WILL NOT HAVE MORE HASSLES WHILE DOING THIS!

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

Sonofaganbangingbitch! SUN is totally made of BS. Willie, if I understand you well, a subscriber has to go to their main office terminate service and will only get 1000 deposit after 6 months! And if you’re unable to pay the monthly bill, after two months the service will be terminated but the billing still continues till you pay-up? WTF.

    Im totally leaving this shit.

I’ve heard some forum posts that there are instances where someone already applied for termination but still the billing continued–no lock-in period and even without any outstanding balance.

I’ve been experiencing something like your graph up until last week, then the speed became a tad tolerable during peak hours and I could at least count on getting some torrents going during ungodly hours (2am-530am). Still, epic fluctuations all the time.

Hi folks! I agree with all of you. I am a prepaid subscriber of SBW for 3 months now and i never had a satisfying minute with the service. i’ve been complaining everytime i go to their offices in SM but nothing happens. I even showed them screenshots to prove the slow connection but it’s no use.

What bothers me is that the download speed i see in the dashboard does not reflect the speed that i am actually getting. Sometimes it shows 3kbps and sometimes 200kbps. But i just get the same slow speed.

And take note, i’m only trying to access facebook. Sometimes simple sites like google come up very slow too.

I also tried to look for a supervisor to escalate but the supervisor was useless. They don’t know what CUSTOMER SERVICE means!
