Wirelessly Saying…

Satisfied with my laptop so far. Definitely got my money’s worth. The only problem is that for Windows Vista users, the minimum memory should at least start at 2GB RAM. Mine’s 0.99, way far less. Somebody should have told me that before I made the purchase. Well, not that its mega-slow. It’s just a little slower than the work desktop I’m accustomed too.

Ooh I really need wireless connection. Remember when I said that I could log-on to Wi-Fi at the vicinity of my community? Forget that. I got connected just by chance and even there’s 10 more networks seen, all of them are password protected. There’s a free public Wi-Fi at the clubhouse though. Now if I could just stand the sight of obese elderly wearing bright speedo trunks, then maybe I can do a little blogging there. Bleh.

Speaking of blogs, Flickside is now rusting in its domain. It’s been two months since the last post. And they weren’t even good reviews. They’re just fillers. It’s my dream project man! And to think I’ve seen tons of films lately. Actually, I was at the French Film Festival at the Shang last Sunday. I went with Sarah, Zac, Nan on a French Film marathon and most of the movies deserve modest reviews. So much for calling myself a film critic.

Anyways, I can see Flickside rising up from the ashes. All I need is a wireless connection. Globe or SmartBro? The former is expensive, the latter scares me. I’ve never heard a good commendation of it. So I really need a good plan that’s just right for me. Not too pricey yet high in performance. Does such service exist? I hope so.
